CAN provides auxiliary support services to statewide agencies who serve deaf or hard-of-hearing elderly (who require American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation by native users of ASL) and ReafBlind and Hard of Hearing blind, and Deaf and Hard of Hearing persons with diminished visual acuity regardless of race or gender so that they can be provided opportunities to succeed in areas of employment, education, housing, economics, and self-determination.

SSPs are fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and trained to provide tactile or visual communication, transportation and assistance in maintaining independence.
CSPs provide peer-to-peer communication, offering companionship, scheduling transportation to medical appointments, and food shopping for elderly Deaf consumers.
This assistance is available at virtual or onsite meetings or workshops. Trained facilitators work between hearing-sight callers and DeafBlind callers on videophones his is different from interpreters who deliver voice communication in American Sign Language (ASL).
This DeafBind support group meets monthly bringing the community together to learn about a wide range of topics related to DeafRling as well as provide a chance to socialize, and engage in the community.
Every two weeks this program provides meaningful opportunities for communicatively accessible information and interaction that helps stablilize and enhance ReafBlind persons mental health and well beng by providing health screenings, Deaf community updates, sharing of technology developments, local activities and other activities identified by the participants.
